You often hear photographers say that preparation is the most important aspect of a shoot, which is very much true in its own right. Sometimes, however, a photographer doesn't have the luxury of planning. Like any form of art, photography is about inspiration, and inspiration is not something that we can always count on at a particular time. It's spontaneous.
